This points to the tree/set/lesson/etc. from the defaultCategory that will be used on startup of end-user mode.
This might be a specific dictionary-tree or text-tree using an index-view, or a lesson containing an image map, for example.
The actual presentation of the item will be determined by other formatting options of that tree/set/lesson.
This points to the resource to be used as the Project Information page.

Note: category names generally correspond to one of the other doctypes.
In the cases where they do not have a corresponding doctype, they refer to collections (trees, relationships, etc.) of another doctype
(e.g. Maps category is a collection of trees, etc. of some custom tree-type, in this example "map").

Tabular presentations of categories of information frequently used by a project are defined using table profiles. A table profile uses query results (referenced via a queryID link to a Query document) and an ordered list of variables (properties) to be shown as columns of the table.
The docID here refers to a Variable document.
